Canopy Install

Needed Materials:
Chain, wire, canopy and canopy hardware


 Weave provided wire whip from light through chain

Wire installed in chain
Gather canopy and provided hardware

Install provided canopy loop into canopy as shown
Install locking washer on canopy loop at back of canopy



Install and tighten canopy loop with provided nut


With a pair of plier bend opened end of chain open to about ¼ inch.

Feed wire through canopy loop opening at center

Feed about 4 inches of wire through canopy as shown

Install chain at canopy loop

Bend chain back into place after installing into canopy loop

Separate 2 strands of lamp wire at canopy

Separate about 3 inches of wire

Using wire strippers strip about ¾ inches of wire at each separated wire end

If not already completed strip both black and white wires at ceiling electrical box
**NOTE: MAKE SURE CURRENT IS TURNED OFF BEFORE WORKING WITH WIRE**
Thread longer 1 inch screws into threaded middle hole at each end of canopy mounting plate

Tighten screws as shown
Place shorter screws provided into variable slot at each end of canopy mounting plate
 

Using a power drill or screw driver install canopy plate into ceiling electrical box
**Note: As many boxes are different make sure you install at proper mounting holes in ceiling box**

Twist 1 wire from electrical box into one wire from light fixture

Install provided wire nut at newly joined wire

Repeat for 2nd set of wires

Install canopy over canopy mounting plate



Using pliers tighten ceiling canopy to ceiling using provided decorative nuts
